Want to use your own photo, artwork, or pattern to create a truly unique wallpaper? Our upload process is simple, but it's essential to follow some guidelines to ensure the best print quality.
1. Accepted File Formats:
We accept the following image formats:
- .JPG / .JPEG: Most common format for photographs.
- .PNG: Ideal for images with transparency.
- .TIFF: Preferred for high quality and uncompressed files.
- .PDF: We accept high-resolution PDF files (vector or rasterized at high dpi).
- .AI / .EPS (vector): For vector designs, ensuring maximum sharpness at any size.
2. Image Resolution and Quality:
Resolution is the most important factor for the final quality of your wallpaper.
- Minimum Recommended Resolution: To ensure a sharp print without pixelation, your image must have at least 150 DPI (dots per inch) at the actual print size.
- How to Check Resolution:
- On your computer: Right-click on the image, go to "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac) and check the dimensions in pixels.
- Simple Calculation: Multiply the width and height of your wall (in inches) by 150 DPI. For example, a wall 100 inches wide by 80 inches high would need an image with at least 15,000 pixels wide by 12,000 pixels high.
- Avoid Low-Resolution Images: Low-quality cellphone photos, images saved from social media or the internet usually do not have the necessary resolution and can result in a blurry or pixelated print.
- Stock Photos: If using stock photos, choose the high-resolution versions.
3. Colors:
- Color Profile: For more accurate colors, we recommend the CMYK color profile. However, we also accept files in RGB, and we will convert them, but there may be slight color variations.
- Brightness and Contrast: Adjust the brightness and contrast of your image before uploading if you want a specific result. What you see on the screen may have slight differences in print.
4. Upload Process:
- On our product page "Customize Your Wallpaper," there will be a clear option to "Upload Image" or "Submit Design."
- Select the desired file from your computer.
- After uploading, our system will perform a preliminary quality check and indicate if the resolution is adequate or if there might be issues.
5. Our Team's Review:
- Even after your upload, our graphic design team will review each submitted image.
- If we identify a potential quality issue you didn't notice, we will contact you to discuss options before proceeding with printing.
By following these tips, you ensure your custom wallpaper is produced with the highest quality, exactly as you imagined!
